Ecumenical Outreach

Our Holy Father tells us that Ecumenism is a mission in which the Church is irrevocably committed. It is essential that the Church continue its work towards unity. The mission of the Ecumenical and Inter-religious Outreach Ministry is to assist the Church, at the parish level, to reach out to other faith-based communities to promote and strengthen unity. We work to accomplish this through mutual dialog, prayer, and activities. Our guiding principle is John 17:20-21. "I pray not only for them, but also for those who believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they may also be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me."
