What you like best about SMG:
I am impressed with the musical abilities of the parishioners, as well as their generous hearts. I also enjoy our beautiful sanctuary and magnificant pipe organ.
Lectors
At every celebration of the Mass God speaks to us through the proclamation of the Word. Those who feel called to proclaim God's Word to the gathered assembly are appointed as Lectors in the community. Training as a lector consists of learning to read from Sacred Scripture in a way that will inspire all who hear the text. Prayerful reflection on the readings several days before Mass is essential to your ministry.
