What you like best about SMG:
I am impressed with the musical abilities of the parishioners, as well as their generous hearts. I also enjoy our beautiful sanctuary and magnificant pipe organ.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
The Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a priest or deacon by virtue of their Holy Orders. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned lay persons who have been fully initiated into the Church and are able to receive Holy Communion themselves. Being called to this ministry, one should feel a special devotion to Christ's presence in the Eucharistic elements of bread and wine and have a strong desire to share that devotion and belief with the community.
