Liturgy of the Word for Children is a worship experience geared toward children. It provides children the opportunity to hear the Sunday Scriptures in words they understand and share their understanding of God's word.

We offer CLOW during the 11AM Mass on Sundays during the school year. This does not take the place of Religious instruction but is a supplement to it. It is open to all children ages 4-12 who come to the 11:00 a.m. Mass. The children are dismissed from Mass before the readings to gather in Goretti Center True Vine Atrium for the readings, a short discussion and creed, and prayers of the faithful. They listen to the same readings as their parents are hearing in church but from a Children’s Lectionary. They return to the church to sit with their parents. Our CLOW catechists are volunteer adults who take turns leading the children in and out of the church and leading the readings, etc. A second adult must accompany the group. If you would be interested in helping with this ministry please call Mary Arnold at ext. 25.
